The 11th Annual Passport to Cherry's event will continue to feature:
- our ever-popular restaurant food tasting event!
- live music on three classic car and motorcycle filled blocks!
- A Kids' Zone activity center to entertain the smaller car enthusiasts among us!

Crazy Techie Summer
This summer teens are going crazy with iPads, Apple computers and digital camcorders. The Salinas Public Library is holding three Digital Art Contests with $100 cash prizes and a variety of workshops using the latest technology.
All events are free and open to any teen 13 through 19 years old.
Teens may participate in all three contests, but only one submission per teen per contest will be accepted. Selected entries will be exhibited at the library and on the library website. Winners will be announced on August 21st and cash prizes must be claimed at the John Steinbeck Library, 350 Lincoln Ave., Salinas.

The Marketplace continues to provide fresh fruits, vegetables, and other crafts, treats and entertainment throughout the winter months! Bring your shopping bags and load up on fresh fruits, vegetables, and goodies.
A fun, fresh weekly event in Oldtown, the Marketplace combines a Certified Organic Farmer's Market with fresh produce and flowers, arts and crafts, foods and family entertainment!
Parking is plentiful and convenient at the Monterey Street Parking garage. Check it out every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
