Old Train Trestle offers a New Welcome!
The repainting of the Train Trestle at Market and Main Street is nearly complete. The trestle now boasts a "Welcome to Oldtown" sign and a fresh, clean look. Thanks to the dedicated Train Trestle Committee's hard work, an eye sore with possibilities has become a testimony to our city's vision of greatness!
Oldtown is Fresh!
The Marketplace continues to run every Saturday, weather permitting, so get out and load up on fresh fruits, vegetables, and goodies. A fun, fresh weekly event in Oldtown, the Marketplace combines a Certified/Organic Farmers’ market with fresh produce and flowers, arts and crafts, foods and family entertainment! Over 60 vendors participate each week. Check it out—every Saturday from 9am – 2pm!

Are you new to Oldtown? Have you operated a business for years, but want to know more about the Association and its benefits and programs?
The Oldtown Salinas Association will be holding monthly orientation meetings for new AND existing members. Information will include a history of the association, the benefits of Business Improvement Districts, and a presentation of the Oldtown Salinas Association programs, activities, and member support. Ask questions, bring your ideas, and get involved!
Meetings will be held the last Monday of every month at 9am beginning Monday, July 28th in the National Steinbeck Center Conference room (downstairs in the Administration offices). RSVP's are appreciated.
